Light bulb goes on and Maven Harry puts it all together for Golden Gate score!

It all came together at Golden Gate Fields on Friday when Maven Harry made it look easy, breaking his maiden by 2 1/4 lengths geared down. After two disappointing efforts at Del Mar he showed improvement at Pleasanton when we took off the blinkers but after a poor start he could do no better than 3rd. With that race under his belt he and leading rider Juan Hernandez teamed up  for the stylish win with a final time of 1:10.3 over the Tapeta surface. The time is impressive for a 2 year old, giving the Partnership confidence he can move on to the next level.

Maven Harry broke alertly then permitted the favorite, Giro Candito, to push to the lead, pressed that one three wide to the stretch, rallied to the front in mid stretch and finished steadily for the win. Congratulations to the Blinkers On Partners!
