Pulling for the Parkers

Donation protected
In 2014, the Parker's made the long trek across the U.S. , to start their new lives in San Diego. Soon after they settled in, Josh fell ill. After many tests, he was diagnosed with a very rare form of a scary disease called "Amyloidosis". This disease slowly deteriorates the organs. It does not have a cure, but the Parker's are hopeful that treatment at the Mayo clinic will slow the disease process. Due to the severity, and rare form of the type of Amyloidosis Josh has, they were left with no choice but to again move to be closer to the Mayo Clinic. As of last week, Josh had a very scary episode of collapsing, and stopped breathing. He was admitted to the hospital where they decided he needed to have a defibrillator placed to prevent his heart from going into very dangerous rhythms. After going home, he became ill again, and was readmitted to the hospital, and diagnosed with Pericarditis- which is inflammation around the heart. As if things couldn't get any worse, the Parker's discovered that Josh no longer had health insurance. As you can imagine between all the treatments, testing, and any other surgeries he may need, this is VERY scary. I am asking to please help and donate. Anything will help.. And please keep Josh, Kris, Mikaela, Jake, Ella, and Luke in your prayers. We Love you❤️
