Chris Brown is reportedly in a standoff with Los Angeles SWAT following allegations that he pulled a gun on a woman.
The 27-year-old R&B singer allegedly pulled a gun on beauty pageant contestant Baylee Curran during a party inside his LA home on Monday evening. TMZ reports that he has since holed up inside his Los Angeles home. Police arrived at the scene around 3:00 a.m. local time, but have yet to enter Brown’s home as they wait for a search warrant. At one point, Brown threw a duffel bag out of a window. The duffel bag contained “at least one gun, other weapons and drugs,” according to police.
Brown has apparently taunted the police, telling them to “Come and get me.” He’s also posted a series of videos to Instagram in which he says “Fuck the police” and maintains that police won’t find anything if they search his home.

Curran told TMZ that Brown pulled a gun and told her to leave after she began admiring jewelry displayed inside the residence. She also said that Brown refused to return her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused to do. Brown’s camp disputed Curran’s story, saying that Brown was asleep at the time of the party.
Ray J, who was at Brown’s house, was briefly detained upon leaving. He was released, but police kept his car for evidence.
Update – 2:25 p.m. PT: After obtaining a warrant, police have finally entered Brown’s residence and searching for the weapon used in the alleged incident. As of now, no arrests have been made.
Update – 3:15 p.m. PT: Brown has stepped outside his house and is speaking with police. Meanwhile, the woman who called police has been identified as Baylee Curran, a beauty pageant contestant. Curran told TMZ that she was partying with Brown and even spent time in his hot tub. However, when she began looking at jewelry on display at his house, Brown pulled a gun and told her she leave. She also said Brown wouldn’t let her retrieve her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused to do.
Update – 6:25 p.m. PT: Brown has been arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
