A man who made creepy visits to the Good Morning America studio and threatened co-host Robin Roberts was arrested and charged with stalking and harassment, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Troy Warren, 42, showed up outside the show’s Times Square studio on eight occasions from June 10-24 and claimed Roberts owed him money and said he would punch her in the face, THR has learned.
The show’s security director asked Warren to leave each time he showed up, but the alleged stalker was ultimately arrested.
He was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday and his bond was set at $3,000. An order of protection was also issued for Warren’s target.
His next court date is Aug. 4.
The New York Post first reported the news of Warren’s arrest.
