Looking for a vegan meal kit but don’t want to wait for shipping? Starting today, Purple Carrot meal kits will be sold at Whole Foods Market. The rollout starts today at the Whole Foods Market flagship store in Dedham, Massachusetts, and will roll out to other stores in the company’s North Atlantic region.

Purple Carrot meal kits include fresh ingredients for seasonal, chef-inspired and tested vegan recipes. The ingredients are pre-measured for the recipe, saving home cooks the time it takes to look up a recipe, search for or buy the ingredients, and premeasure. It’s like having a personal sous chef who gets everything ready for you to cook yourself.

Purple Carrot founder and CEO Andy Levitt said, “We created a delivery service that provides all of the raw, pre-measured ingredients people need to cook delicious and healthy, plant-based meals across the country. Over the last year, we’ve listened to the feedback of our busy consumers who also wanted to find our products on grocery shelves.”

Whole Foods Markets with Purple Carrot meal kits will offer three meal choices to please different tastes. The first grab-and-go meal kit choices will be Mongolian Seitan Stir Fry, Pan Seared Tofu and Black Rice Noodles, and Cashew Korma with Cauliflower Rice. Each will sell for $20 and serves two people.

The win for Purple Carrot customers will be the ability to pick up meal kits at a store rather than by weekly delivery. For Whole Foods Markets customers, it’s also about convenience.

”We recognize that now, more than ever, our customers are in need of convenience without the sacrifice of quality and nutrition,” said Kimberly Rose, Whole Foods Market’s North Atlantic region vice president of purchasing. “Purple Carrot has created a great product that will help us to provide our customers with one more way to continue to eat well even on the busiest of days.”

How to format the microSD card on Tapo security cameras
The Tapo C120 out in the rain.

One of the most compelling features of Tapo products (like the Wire-Free 2K Outdoor Cam and Indoor/Outdoor Cam) is support for local storage. Many Tapo security cameras let you install a microSD card, so you don't have to rely on cloud storage to save all your videos – instead, they're neatly stored right on your camera. Before you can start using local storage, however, you'll need to format your microSD card. Tapo has some pretty strict requirements for how this works, but the process itself is remarkably simple.

Ready to start saving all your video clips locally? Here's how to format the microSD card on your Tapo security camera.
