Armed person, Cleveland

Investigations are continuing following the discovery of weapons and drugs at a Cleveland home yesterday.

Police were initially called the Smith Street address shortly before 11am following reports of a person armed with a firearm.

An emergent situation was later declared under the Public Safety Preservation Act around 3pm before being revoked around 5.20pm.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at the address.

Police would like to speak with the residents of the address or anyone else that may have information that could assist with their ongoing investigation.
