Armed Robbery, Runaway Bay

Police are investigating following an armed robbery at a Bayview Street shop in Runaway Bay last night.

Around 8.30pm a man allegedly armed with a gun entered the shop and made demands for money. The attendant handed over a sum of cash and the man left the store.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

The man is described as being between 25 to 30-years-old approximately 190cms, Caucasian proportionate build with fair skin. He was wearing a bright red jacket, black jeans and a black balaclava.
