A couple is accused of cultivating marijuana with three children in their home, according to the Oviedo Police Department.Police said Yohandy and Tiffany Martin had 20 to 30 Mason jars filled with marijuana in their house on Burnett Street.Raw video: Police unpack marijuana Mason jars from Oviedo homeOne of the children told investigators “daddy has plants in his office with special (air conditioning) because it gets hot in there,” according to the arrest affidavit.They also had a loaded pistol in the master bedroom."Mrs. Martin denied having any knowledge of what was going on even though it was in plain sight in the master bedroom," said Oviedo police spokesman Mike Beavers. "It was loaded and ready to go and had a toddler gotten in there, got a hold of it out of curiosity, something terrible could have happened."All three children were placed in protective custody.Both Yohandy and Tiffany Martin were charged with possession of cannabis, manufacture sale and delivery of cannabis within 1,000 feet of a specified area, unsafe storage of a firearm and child neglect.The Martins bonded out of jail.
