Armed robbery, Woodridge

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a Woodridge bottle shop this afternoon.

Around 5.10pm, a man entered the Station Road store armed with a knife, threatened a male and female staff member and demanded they open the cash register.

The staff members complied and the man fled the store with a sum of cash.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, of average build and around 175cm tall with a right forearm tattoo.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark-coloured pants and a black baseball cap.

No one was physically harmed during the incident.
