Once you bring a kid to a playground, just try and keep them still. There’s so much to explore, so many fun things to do, they have to race around til they’ve seen every inch of that playground! That’s why this video was so surprising to me.
Five kids were playing on a playground when some music started playing, and all of a sudden, one by one, they stood still and at attention until the music ended. What song made them do that?
I’ll give you a hint: They live on a Marine base.
How many kids would recognize “To the Colors” and know it deserves the same respect as our national anthem? I’m afraid too many kids are being taught entitlement instead of respecting their country these days. It’s nice to see that these kids are learning something right!
