Hi, All You Beautiful Health Crusaders, You! –
I want to thank you all for your kind well-wishes during the last few months. My mother passed about a month ago. She faced her death with grace, dignity, confidence and determination – her final, last great lesson to my sisters and me.
During the months in which she grew ill and passed away, my family and I have been immersed in medical and material matters while grasping at our New Normal without her; it has been a great challenge for me and the practice.
Consequently, I also want to thank you again for your patience with my (lack of) administrative skills during this time. Details regarding my mom are not finished yet; I am aware that I’ve been all over the map and how very behind I am in my tasks.
I am hoping these life lessons will eventually help me become a better doctor and communicator. In the meantime…

For those of you who are practice members, I am back in the office and I will reach out to you over the next few days/weeks. For friends and colleagues, I’ll be reaching out to touch base and catch up on the comings and goings in your worlds. I hope to reconnect with everyone as soon as possible.
