DETECTIVES investigating the Shoreham airshow disaster are looking into an incident at the Southport airshow in 2014.
Eleven men were killed when a display jet at the Shoreham Airshow crashed into the A27 in August last year.
Police and the Air Accidents Investigations Branch are investigating.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Rymarz, of Sussex Police, said: "We are aware of an incident at the Southport airshow in 2014.
"This incident forms a line of enquiry in our wider investigation.
"All the families are aware of our interest in this incident."
