Eagles set fall golf schedule for 2015

Chase Esparza and the Eagles will open their fall season Sept. 14-15 at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational in Amarillo, Texas.
OKLAHOMA CITY (July 7, 2015) – Oklahoma Christian will play in at least four tournaments during the fall 2015 men's golf season, coach David Lynn said Tuesday.

Lynn said four tournaments currently are on the schedule, with the possibility of a fifth being added at a later date.

The Eagles will open the fall season with a trip west on Interstate 40 to Amarillo, Texas, to play in the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Tascosa Country Club on Sept 14-15. It will be the third straight year in which OC has competed in the event, hosted by West Texas A&M.

Two weeks later, on Sept. 28-29, the Eagles will play in the Western New Mexico Fall Intercollegiate at the New Mexico State University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. The event, which OC won two years ago, will draw many of the top NCAA Division II teams from the South Central Region.

OC will have a chance to test itself against NCAA Division I competition on Oct. 12-13, during a trip to Overland Park, Kan., to play in the Bill Ross Intercollegiate, hosted by Missouri-Kansas City. It will be the third straight year in which the Eagles have played in the event at Milburn Country Club.

On Oct. 19-20, OC will close the fall season by competing in the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.
