February is just around the corner - we'll soon be celebrating St. Valentine's Day with hearts, chocolates, and flowers. The Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District want to celebrate, too. We'll do it just a little differently.
Romance novels will be on sale at the Book Store for "lovely" lower prices:
- $.10 for mass market paperbacks;
- $.25 for oversize paperbacks, and
- $.50 for hardcover books.
Come in starting Tuesday, February 2, through Tuesday, February 16, and stock up on your favorite Romance authors at these low prices.
The Book Store, located behind the Boardman Road Branch Library at 141 Boardman Road, is open from 10 am to 4 pm each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (provided the Library is open). The store accepts cash, of course, plus personal checks with driver's license ID and VISA, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.
The Book Store accepts donations of quality used books Monday through Friday from 10 am to 12 pm on days that the Library is open.
