What are Developmental Disabilities?
Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions due to an impairment in physical, learning, language or behavior areas. These conditions begin during the developmental period, may impact day-to-day functioning, and usually last throughout a person's lifetime. DD's include:

Muscular Dystrophies (MD) are a group of disorders that result in muscle weakness and a decrease in muscle mass over time. it is very important to get help as early as possible, as it can make a real difference in mobility over time.

Who is affected?

Healthy Living
Being healthy means the same thing for all of us - getting and staying well so we can lead full, active lives. Although people with disabilities sometimes have a harder time getting and staying healthy than people without disabilities, there are things we can all do to get and stay healthy.
