Give yourself a chance to "cleanse" from the Thanksgiving Feast!
I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving!  You may have given yourself free rein to eat whatever you wanted yesterday, but today is another day!  

Whether you are a maintenance dieters or you are a phase 1 dieter and you had one deviation yesterday, today is your chance to clean that mess up!  

Phase 1 dieters who deviated from the protocol yesterday (whether planned or not):  Go back to a STRICT phase 1 immediately!  One IP for breakfast, one IP for lunch plus 2 cups of vegetables and lettuce, 8 oz (no more or less) of protein and 2 cups of veggies for dinner and one IP for your snack.  Drink lots of water!  Get way more than the 64 ounce minimum today. Take your vitamins.  

Maintenance Dieters:  Have a phase 1 type of day today.  If you have any IP foods, use those as your proteins.  Without IP foods, have lean proteins at every meal and eat lots of low carb veggies.  Drink lots of water!  Give your pancreas a rest today.  Don't eat anything that will raise your insulin (even a little bite).  Depending on how much you gourmandized yesterday, you may want to have several phase 1 type of days.  Get on the scale each day.  Watch the numbers normalize as you continue your phase 1 type of days.  

To the phase 1 dieters who kept to protocol yesterday:  YOU ROCK!  GREAT JOB!  YOU HAVE AN IRON WILL TO BE THANKFUL FOR!
