Armed robbery, Labrador

Police are searching for a man following an armed robbery on Marine Parade at Labrador last night.

About 1am the man walked into a business to buy cigarettes and was refused because he did not provide age identification.

The man then produced a knife and demanded cigarettes before climbing over the counter and stealing a number of packets.

He is described as of Pacific Islander appearance, about 185cm tall with a solid build.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black shorts and black runners gloves and chequered shorts, with his face covered by what appeared to be a black shirt.

There were no injuries.
