Attempted armed robbery, Woree

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a Woree service station this morning.

Around 12.30am, a men entered the Bruce Highway business and threatened a female employee with what appeared to be a firearm.

The employee chased the man from the store.

He was last seen jumping over a wall at the rear of the business.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 172cm tall.
