Mystery solved! Claudia Kim is identified as the woman in hero-filled party scene in new Avengers: Age Of Ultron extended trailer

A mystery woman seen during a party scene in the extended trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron was identified on Wednesday as South Korean actress Claudia Kim.

The 29-year-old actress, also known as Kim Soo-hyun, was confirmed by Disney as the woman shown in the two-minute trailer released on Tuesday, according to an article by BuzzFeed.

Claudia was briefly shown during a party scene featuring well-known members of the Avengers including Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

While it was confirmed that Claudia was the actress seen in the clip, the studio did not identify her character.

Claudia earlier this year was tight-lipped about her role in the movie.

'I am a doctor/scientist who is friends with Tony Stark. But I can't give you more information; my lips are sealed for now. It's very secretive,' she said.

The extended trailer was shown on Tuesday night's episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD show on Disney-owned ABC after the studio last week gave fans a short teaser of the upcoming movie.

The extended trailer opened with the superheroes enjoying drinks together as they lounge around on sofas.

Thor gave the gang a challenge - to pick up his enchanted hammer Mjolnir.

The superheroes - apart from the Black Widow - tried unsuccessfully to get a grip of the god's weapon.

Iron Man even enlisted Rhodey (Don Cheadle) as they both tried to lift the hammer using Tony Stark's powerful armour.

Thor was notably concerned when Captain America managed to move the powerful tool just a nudge.

The cosy atmosphere soon collapsed, however, when a menacing, damaged robot stumbled into the room, much to the distress of the Avengers.

The world turned bleak as they were thrown into their fiercest battle yet as they fought super-villain Ultron, who is hell-bent on destroying humanity despite Iron Man's initial efforts to oversee peace talks.

As the trailer twists and turns, fans will be left wondering whether the war will prove too much for the co-horts, as several members of the Avengers appear to turn on each other.

'It's the end,' Tony Stark said in an empty voice. 'The end of the path I started us on.'

'Nothing lasts forever,’ countered Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow .

The clip ended with a close-up of Ultron’s piercing red gaze as he growled: 'Now I'm free. There are no strings on me.'
