Location: Connemara, Ireland
Connemara is a magical place in County Galway, Ireland, that faces the Atlantic Ocean to the west and is flanked by mountains to the east. This geography can make the weather seemingly change from one minute to the next, which contributes to the magic and unpredictability of the area.
My dog, George, accompanied me for the day and we brought some apples to share with the famous Connemara ponies. Luckily for this roll of Aerochrome, the weather stayed sunny with fluffy, white clouds which is ideal for infrared photography. It was a day when everything fell into place perfectly—beautiful weather, stunning scenery and the perfect marriage of Aerochrome and the Xpan—and made this roll of film memorable!
