Police are continuing to investigate a burglary with violence which occurred in Silkstone in July of this year.
Around 6.30pm on July 5, three men wearing hoods and masks forced entry into a residence on Macquarie Street.
The men forced two residents, an 86-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman to the ground, using the man’s walking stick as a weapon, before rummaging through the property and leaving with a sum of money.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area around the time of the incident to contact police via Policelink on 131444.
Investigations are continuing.
