Every festival season, almost without fail, Prince would inevitably come up on the list of rumored headliners for one fest or another. It almost never came to be, of course — except for one magical summer in 2008. That year, the Prestigious Purple Performer graced the Coachella main stage for what was surely one of the greatest sets Indio has ever seen, or ever will.

Last year, Prince finally allowed his cover of Radiohead’s  “Creep” from that show to be uploaded to YouTube for all to see. Now, in memory of his passing and celebration of his incredible live legacy, one fan has uploaded audio of the entire performance.

The setlist consisted of nearly as many covers as Prince originals, including The Time (openers “The Bird” and “Jungle Love”), Santana (“Batuka”, “Soul Sacrifice”, and “Toussaint L’Overture”), The Beatles (“Come Together”) and even Sarah McLachlan (“Angel”). Sandwiched between all these rare covers were classics like “1999”, “Little Red Corvette”, and the requisite closer, “Let’s Go Crazy”. As a whole, the set was a testament to the late legend’s unpredictability, unparalleled ability, and sheer love of performing.

And because he would’ve allowed it, here’s video of Prince performing “Creep”:
