Armed robberies – Manoora

Police are investigating two incidents of armed robbery in Manoora yesterday afternoon.

At around 3:20pm, a woman parked her car at the back of a building on Pease Street.

As she walked down a driveway towards the building, a group of four approached her and demanded she give them her keycards and keys, threatening her with a knife.

The woman was able to run away from the offenders, but in the process sustained minor facial injuries.

The offenders have then left on foot heading towards Pioneer Street.

Around 10 minutes later, the same group approached another woman at the back of a service station, making the same demands and threatening her with a knife.

They took a set of keys before leaving on foot.

The main offender is described as an Aboriginal female, approximately 160cm in height, with a very thin build and was wearing a tie-dyed patterned striped shirt.
