Remember the old proverb: “He who pays the piper calls the tune?”

ConDem MPs on the books of private health companies should give up the cash immediately or be flushed out of Parliament.

Because accepting tainted blood money is poisoning politics and killing our NHS.

Only a fool would believe a private corporation looking to make a fast billion would fund an MP against privatisation.

Vested commercial interests are - entirely legally - buying influence.

Cash-for-votes is correctly banned outright after a plague of disgraceful scandals.

Yet the lucrative “advisory” virus infects so many MPs it is the MRSA bacteria of public life.

Here’s how it works: Private firms looking to digest the NHS wine and dine politicians.

The same money-making firms dangle pound signs in front of our elected representatives.

By an incredible coincidence - I wouldn’t want to impugn a Parliamentarian’s integrity - those who accept cash see health care from the perspective of the paymasters.

And the result is MPs lobbying and voting for the dismemberment of our greatest national institution.

The future of the NHS is a matter of life and death for those of us who rely on it.

For the grasping corporate locusts swarming over health it is a carcass to be picked clean.

The expensive bureaucratic upheaval unleashed by this Government isn’t just a chaotic waste of £3-billion.

It was a butcher carving up the NHS into juicy bite-sized chunks to corporations that not only slip money to MPs but are big donors to the Tory Party.

Everything’s up for sale, from ambulances and clinics to cancer treatments and entire hospitals.

Upwards of £10-billion of care has already been given away and that’ll grow as long as the ConDems are in power.

Labour to its shame built some of the bridges over which the Tories now march.

But thankfully the party’s come to its senses and would halt the destruction of the NHS if Labour wins the election.
