Trilly's Impawsable Recovery

Trilly (short for tripod Lilly) is a 6-9 month old German Shepherd pup who was turned into a local vet when her owners (a religious organization)  couldn't afford her treatment when her extremely infected leg needed amputated.  Sadly, they brought her back for euthanasia. 

A caring vet tech contacted Im-Paws-Able, explaining the situation and sharing what a happy, loving pup she was.  We located a foster home for Trilly and she had her surgery.  She is now recuperating and waiting to have her stitches removed.  

Trilly truly IS a shining star who we hope will pay it forward by being a service dog to a disabled person.  She has the personality for it, as well as the intelligence.  Trilly will go to day foster to further socialize her to all the things she will need to 'pay it forward'.

Please help us to help her.  Trilly will need further care and training, as we anticipate she will be at Im-Paws-Able for an extended period of time.  Since she has spent her life, until now, on a chain, she will go to water therapy to strengthen the remaining back leg.
