Detectives in the Far Northern Region are continuing their murder investigation into the suspicious death of a woman at Bingil Bay on over the weekend.
Police were called after the body of a 26-year-old Feluga woman was discovered at around 5pm at a home on Bingil Bay Road, Bingil Bay.
A crime scene was established a short while later.
Northern Region Crime Co-ordinator Detective A/Superintendent Bruno Asnicar today fronted local media in the hope to appeal to all members of the public to provide information which may assist detectives in relation to this case.
Areas of importance are the Mission Beach, Wongaling, South Mission and Bingil Bay.
Of particular note during the appeal, an image of a vehicle which was dark grey in colour with NSW registration plates is of interest to police.
Anyone who may have seen this vehicle in the area on or about Saturday April 19, is urged to contact police.
