Letter: Costello ‘deserves to be re-elected’

To the editor,

I am writing n support of Chuck Costello’s bid for reelection to the Board of Selectmen.

He has served for 15 years in that capacity and before that for 9 years on the school committee. That is a lot of public service but if he is willing to continue the town is better off for it.

I served with him as selectman for 9 years and found him to be a hard worker, a clear thinker and a calming influence.

He took the lead for the selectmen in our successful battle with the state DOT to close the salt shed and when it seemed like we had no place to put the library in the short term, he can up with the idea of placing it in town hall and was able to demonstrate it’s feasibility.

He deserves to be reelected.
