Mision y Descripcion

Somos un nuevo proyecto encaminado al intercambio cultural entre Asia y Colombia el cual tiene como objetivo una visita inolvidable con unicas actividades
Mision 

El intercambio cultural es una oportunidad especial para los estudiantes colombianos a conocer las costumbres y la cultura de las diferentes regiones de China y para compartir la riqueza de la cultura colombiana a través de múltiples formas, tales como espectáculos artísticos, obras de teatro y presentaciones académicas y talleres. El objetivo del programa es el de experimentar una cultura diferente a través de la participación en cada comunidad china para tener una mejor comprensión del mundo. Durante la visita a una comunidad cada día, los participantes amplian sus conocimientos de la cultura china, la práctica del Inglés, forman amistades, aprecian y comparten la cultura colombiana, aprenden a hablar con confianza en público. También tienen el privilegio de vivir con familias voluntarias chinas quienes cuidaran de sus necesidades básicas. El costo incluye alojamiento, hotel, comidas, transporte, seguro médico de emergencia, artístico, cultural y recreativo

Mission 

Cultural exchange is a special opportunity for Colombian students to learn about the customs and culture of different regions of China and to share the richness of Colombian culture through multiple ways such as artistic performances, theater performances and academic presentations and workshops. The goal of the program is to experience a different culture through participating in each Chinese community to have a better understanding of the world. When visiting a community every day, participants expand their knowledge of Chinese culture, practice English, form friendships, appreciate and share Colombian culture, learn to speak confidently in public. Also have the privilege of living with Chinese volunteer families who will care for their basic needs. This cost includes accommodation, hotel, meals, transportation, emergency medical insurance, artistic, cultural and recreational need

International Students Enrollment Letter by Shaanxi Foreign Language Training Institution

A. Basic Chinese Learning Class (enrolling in both spring and fall):


 Fall semester: start on September 1, with a 18-week-course

 Spring semester: start on March 1, with a 18-week-course

B. Chinese Learning and Scholastic Traveling with Cultural Communication

Class: a group presentation learning class enrolling through the years, a

number of ten students can start a class, the learning period and traveling

routine can be arranged based on the students’ special requirements.

1. Enrollment Targets:

 a. International students with a high school degree or above, and

foreigners with a good health condition from all walks of life.

 b. Undergraduate and junior college students should reach a C-level in HSK

when entering school. The ones under 45-year-old with zero English could

begin with the preparatory course.

2. Application Procedures:

 a. For international students sent by their schools or organizations, please

make a direct contact with Shaanxi Foreign Language Training Institution (see

bottom of the page for contact).

 b. For individual applicants, please fill out the International Students

Application Form For Study, which should be asked for via phone call

or letter, send it back to us thereafter 2 months before school begins. If

approved, we will send Admission Notice and Chinese Visa Application

Form For International Students (Form JW202). Applicants have to appear in

person for visa application with the documents mentioned above at Chinese

Embassy or Consulate General headquartered in the applicant’s country or

area. Individual applicants may also contact with our agents working in the

applicant’s country or area and demand a surrogate application.

3. Teaching Arrangement:


a. Course Arrangement: Based on the level of Chinese, students are

ranked into basic, intermediate and advanced classes, with a respective

curriculum of Chinese Reading and Writing, Listening, Oral Speaking, Viewing

Listening and Speaking, comprehension, Writing, Basics of Characters, News,

Chinese Literature, Chinese History, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Painting,

etc.

b. Course Credit Assignment: 20 credit hours of compulsory courses

and 10-14 credit hours of optional courses respectively in the morning and

afternoon from Monday to Friday. Students will be tested at the end of each

semester and those who pass will be certificated correspondingly.

c. Level Test: HSK Test is held three times annually. A Chinese Level

Certificate will be issued to the qualified ones by Chinese government.

 d. Language Practice: A visit to the Terra Cotta Warriors and other historical

sites during each semester, and long trips in and out of the province for

language practice and the social cognition of China.

4 Expenses (RMB)

 a. Tuition: (teaching materials fee included)

 Basic Chinese Class: 7500 Yuan/term (4 months); 15000Yuan/year.

Chinese Learning and Scholastic Traveling with Cultural Communication

Class: depending on the learning period and traveling routine.

b. Accommodation Expenses: Apartment for single: 1700/person/month;

 Apartment for double: 1200/person/month;

(apartment equipped with shower room, bathroom, heat, airconditioning, fan,

refrigerator, washing machine)

c. Expenses of visa, residence permit, physical examination and

authentication should be paid to the departments relevant to Xi’an

government.

d. Students who abandon school due to a private reason, according to the

national regulation, will not get the tuition refunded.

e. Cost of living (for reference only): around 6000 Yuan/year for food, 1000

Yuan/year for transportation and others based on the prediction of a general

price and life consumption in Xi’an.

5. School Arrival:

 1. A 20 minute taxi ride may cost 20 RMB.

 2. A 20 minute taxi ride costing around 15 RMB after an hour airport express

ride cosing 27 RMB; or a direct taxi ride from the airport to school costing

around 160 RMB.


6. Registration Instructions:

 a. Students should register in a timely manner, with the Admission Notice,

Form JW202 and 8 headshots of 2-inch, students who have already

completed one year of study may need an extra of physical examination

result. If students inform their flight number in advance, we will sent a free

pick up to the airport or the train station.
