OPENING Monday, October 17

A hybrid piece of amplified orchestra, electronics, and choreographic systems rigorously activating Sol LeWitt's '54 Columns' art space. 'Yesterday she Plowed the Land' mixes Paris-born composer Daniel Wohl's CYCLES, a soundscape of improbable, dazzling combinations of vibrations played live by Sonic Generator, with glo's social art movement. The artists aim to overthrow the narrative associated with conventional performance.

from the roof down
Pasaquan

Saturday, October 22
3pm

Conjuring up the intermingling of the body and mind to meditate, confess and wildly dance all at the same time.  from the roof down is commissioned for the Grand Opening of Pasaquan, Georgia's psychedelic art environment.  Choreographed and conceptualized by Lauri Stallings, glo's durational movement choir migrates Pasaquan's 7-acres, inside and out the compounds main structures and grassy lawns.

Visionary artist St. EOM built his vast utopia of buildings and paintings, inspired by various cultures, for 30 years.  'from the roof down' is part of a 2-year art environment initiative to preserve the legend of St. EOM through the support of hybrid art, education initiatives, and a grand re-opening of Pasaquan.  The installation deepens glo's particular body of works made with specificity and personality of place, where time is left to happen.
