From our Campus Pastor
If you have been around Crosspoint for any significant period you know that we have several distinctives that would hopefully be noticeable even before you heard someone verbalize them.
For example, there is a lot of life change that happens here. We also want to be a church where people know they can come as they are. Any devoted follower of Jesus would also see that we should be about others. Finally, as a church we value what many call the “next generation,” but we love to refer to the next generation as the Now Generation. That is not specifically how our “Distinctives” are described, but I think any first-time guest would hopefully notice.
So, about the Now Generation. One thing we as a campus needs to focus on is our kid’s ministry. As you may know, we are currently searching for our next team member to lead this vital ministry. (Please pray for that role!) Casi Krog, the Kids Minister at the North Crestview Campus, has helped us pull off events such as Jingle Jam, and Easter Jam for the kids and their families. We are so thankful for her partnership. With Vacation Bible School coming this summer we knew we had to have solid leadership and help as well. And here is where I would like to share some news that I am ecstatic about!
Marisa Davis, who previously served, in the role as the Kids Minister at our campus has so graciously offered to help and lead our Vacation Bible School this summer! We are so thankful for her and her willingness to take on such a huge, critically important week for our kid’s ministry. When you see her, be sure to give her a big, huge thank you!
And with that said, we would love for you to partner with us in impacting families in our community for Jesus this summer. Come talk with us about VBS opportunities, or even general kids ministry serving opportunities as we would love to get you connected.
