The conference room at 1830pm-a talk by Don Arendt on how to manage risk in everyday operations. When you think of managing risk , "I've heard it all" the definition is so widely applied it has lost its meaning. This talk is brought to you with an air carrier and international perspective for GA operations, so will be unlike anything you've heard before. Don Arendt will discuss checklists, acronyms, whether they are useful and how we interpret information in making decisions in certain situations. Hear what defines a hazard, how to recognize it and what you can do about the risk that may result. Learn what our general aviation counterparts are doing to manage risk in other parts of the world.
