Brandon C. Summers Scholarship Fund

My name is Min Nikki Massey, founder of Soul Worth Ministries. My son Brandon C Summers died suddenly on March 21st, 2015 from an adverse reaction to pain medication. He was a devoted father and a devoted barber. Barbering was his passion, and he became a perfectionist at it. Upon his passing I founded Soul Worth Ministries based off of Matthew 16:25,26 "Whoever desires to save their live shall lose it, but whoever desires to lose their life for My sake shall find it. What profit is it to a man if he gains thw whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man exchange for his soul?" This ministries will help those that feel that they are lost and have no hope. To bring awareness to the overwhelming destruction that presciption medications have on this society. This coming June 25th 2016, we will be hosting the 1st Annual "You Are Worth It" Brandon C. Summers Scholarship and Fun Day.

The purpose of the Fun Day is bring the community together to show them love, and appreciation. To let people know that there is hope and what ever dreams you have, you can achieve them, if you would only take that leap of faith and believe. To also let people know that no matter where they are in life right now, they are worth saving, worth fighting for and are worth believing in. 

The purpose of this fund is to award an upcoming student who desires to attend barbering school a scholarship to attend the beauty school of their choice. And to provide them with the necessary tools to start their Barbering career. There is such an art and perfection that goes into barbering and many people that have this talent, cannot afford to attend school. Our goal is to some day provide 100% tuition for someone each year, who has a passion for barbering just as Brandon did. Brandon always wanted to find a way to help others, so this is an awesome way to honor his legacy!!

We need to reach our goal by June 15th 2016!!!
