Rev. Paul's Inspirational Message

WHEN THE BOTTOM DROPS OUT

Good Day Family,

Every now and then life presents us with tests and challenges that seem to us insurmountable. When we lose a job, a business, a home or someone that we love, it is easy to feel desperate and distraught. But today, I want to suggest to you that God always throws us a lifeline. There is a story that is told about a man who slipped while climbing a mountain and was left dangling from a fragile rope that was fraying and ready to break. The man cried out for help to no avail, until finally someone looked over the side of the cliff and called out to him these words, "Reach beyond the break." When the man did, he realized first, that he had the ability to pull himself up, and second, he realized that beyond the break, the rope was strong enough to support him.

Often, when we are in challenging situations we do not realize that God is able to sustain us if we can just reach past our problems and grab hold to the problem solver. God can and God will see us through to a better day and a brighter tomorrow. Each day of our lives we face the challenges and pressures of living in this world. But, we can be comforted by the assurance that our God is able to keep us, if we are willing to depend on God by surrendering our problems to God.

I don't know about you but I don't want to run this race alone. I'd rather go with Jesus. Christ is the solid rock on which we can stand...even in a time of storm.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,

All other ground is sinking sand...

All other ground is sinking sand.

In faith,

Rev. Paul
