Drug charges, Coominya

Police have charged a 33-year-old Coominya man with producing and supplying dangerous drugs after officers allegedly located drugs and drug paraphernalia at a Coominya property this afternoon.

It will be alleged that officers searching a Twin Lakes Road residence around 3.40pm found cannabis and items that may have been used in a clandestine drug laboratory.

Police from the Illicit Drug Laboratory Investigation Team attended the address and removed a number of exhibits that will undergo further examination and testing.

The 33-year-old man is due to appear in the IpswichMagistrates Court on March 18 on five drug related charges.
