Japan recorded a morale-boosting 40-0 win over fellow Rugby World Cup side Uruguay in Tokyo on Saturday.

Japan name their final 31-man squad on Monday and Eddie Jones will have been pleased with their commanding performance as they ran in six tries against a beleaguered and ill-disciplined Uruguay.

Uruguay were served two yellow cards during the match. First Agustin Ormaechea was sin-binned for an off-the-ball tackle while back-row Juan Gaminara also saw yellow.

Japan's six tries came thanks to efforts from Ayumu Goromaru, Kosei Ono, Michael Broadhurst, Kotaro Matsushima, Hendrik Tui and Kenki Fukuoka.
