The idea is to create an opportunity for anyone who is interested in increasing skills in rhythm, percussion, drumming and singing to become part of a performance group for the festival.
Participants will be given access to a series of workshops and rehearsals with Luke, Kirsten and Greg in the month leading up to the festival and also receive a two day pass, included in the workshop cost.
This is a fantastic chance for people of all ages and abilities to become a part of a dynamic group and to experience the event as both performer and festival goer. All levels of experience and skill are welcome and youth are invited to be part of it for free.
The workshops will explore many areas of rhythm, from body percussion, playing sticks and cups, to log drums and dun duns. This combined with inspiring songs and vocal work, and being part of new collaborative pieces, ensures that participants are in for a rich musical experience.
Bello Winter Music is very excited to launch the Rhythm and Voice Project, with sessions starting on the 9th June. To get involved in this extraordinary rhythm event, or for more information and workshop costs contact Luke Rhodes - 0412 441 614 or 6655 0809.
