Internal investigation result, Brisbane

Yesterday the Queensland Police Service finalised a discipline hearing with a 59-year-old Senior Constable for failing to fully act on an initial report of a missing person thereby failing to perform duties in a professional and diligent manner.

The officer was found guilty of a breach of discipline with the official sanction of reprimand being imposed.

The officer is eligible to review the internal discipline decision within 14 days to the Commissioner of Police Service Reviews.
