vancouver island wedding

happy tears. belly laughs. beautiful humans. nose-picking flower girls. the red cup. a bhldn wedding dress and a vancouver island wedding. these are a few of my favourite things… and ingredients for a kick ass wedding. kim and rob surrounded themselves with the people they love. they choose tigh-na-mara on vancouver island because it was a place that kim grew up going to. they made their wedding their own. kim and rob decided they wanted to walk down the aisle together. i can’t even tell you how beautiful it was. like goose-bump beautiful. there was not a dry eye in the house! or under the canopy of arbutus trees ;) we did a first look and portraits before the ceremony, which if you are considering it, is a great idea! after the ceremony we didn’t have to leave the party to go do portraits. it helps the day flow so much better. after the stunningly, beautiful, intimate and personal ceremony, the reception was rocking! literally… rob plays in a band and they took the roof off. that’s an expression i think… anyways. i digress. kim and rob. thank you so much for having me a part of your beautiful, beautiful wedding. it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you both :)

here are some of my favourite images from the day.
