A half-day session was organised on 16th September by our Prof. Dr. N. Thamaraiselvan on Web Analytics, Metrics and Online Marketing by inviting Mr. Naresh Kumar, Product Manager, Zoho and an alumnus of DoMS. The lecture kicked off with the formal definition of web analytics followed by its evolution and corresponding metrics like visits, percentage of new visits, bounce rate, pages per visit, time on site and conversion rate. He also explained how web analytics is used in different parts of the organisation. Mr. Naresh spoke about the arsenal for digital marketers which includes Marketing Automation Tools, Personalisation Tools and CRO Tools. He made it interesting with a case study discussion on Product listing along with its pricing strategies. Furthermore, he dealt with the driving of Business goals using web analytics, and the current trends in Digital Marketing. @https://lnkd.in/fCj6itB
