Happening this Friday . . .
The Green Man opens at 7:09 p.m. Hot on the heels of her LP/CD release of Sadie Saturday Nite, Jean Caffeine brings her blend of pop and roots back to the Shed Stage. Debuted on the Drag earlier this year, Sadie consists of songs and stories about coming of age in the California punk scene. Supporting Jean is guitarist John Kovach, who plays on the album and also with the Eggmen. The duo tour in California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado next month. Jean’s music can be found online, and she will have merch on hand at the show. Opening is actress-director-singer-songwriter Robyn Gammill of Lockhart’s Gaslight Baker Theatre. Please bring something tasty to share and a little moola for the tip jar.
Secret Passage: For revelers wishing to avoid crowded roads on a Friday evening, here’s an alternate route: From downtown, travel north on the I-35 frontage road, east on Manor, and then north on Berkman, which leads through the Mueller development and into Windsor Park. Here’s a map. Try it!
Looking forward to seeing you!
