An update from the Turners at MFM Haiti

Good morning.

We have an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

The first bird concerns Louis Saintadaire. He is in medical school at Mirebalais. It is costing us $100 U.S. per month to get him back and forth to school. If I could buy him a motorcycle that would take care of that bird.

My second bird is a young widow with a small baby. Her name is Guerda
and the little boy is Matt. She was married to Pastor Herode who just recently went home to be with Jesus. She presently has no support for herself.

But, she has a motorcycle her husband left her. But he still owes $250 U.S. on it. She needs to sell this bike. The first $250 will go to pay off the debt. The remaining balance will go to her. On the market, the bike would bring $800-900 U.S. and we have not been able to find a buyer.

Once the bike is sold, it will be given to Louis. The loan will be paid off and the balance will be given to the young widow.

We are putting it up for auction to see if anyone would be willing to give to help both of our kids who grew up in our home, and are still with us in Saut d'Eau, faithfully serving the Lord and Mountain Faith Mission.

Who will give $500? Maybe someone would give $600?

Here is your chance to kill 2 birds with one stone.

The first bird is a motorcycle for Louie and a savings of $100 U.S. per month for us.

The second bird is to pay off a debt for this young widow and give her money for groceries.

You can send your bids in to Ryan Akers (ryan.akers@calvaryfwb.org) or Wilma (wilmafturner@yahoo.com).

We will keep the high bid posted so you can raise your bid if you want to.

In Christ,

The Turners
