Story

On 27th December 2015 my girlfriend of 7 years Linzi Craig was cruelly taken away from us with a short battle with malignant melanoma. Linzi was diagnosed with skin cancer when she had a cancerous mole removed when she was 14. However in September last year the cancer returned and spread throughout her body as a result of this Linzi sadly passed away. Me and my close group of mates Matthew, Andrew, Ross, Liam, Kristofer, Steven and Kevin decided it would be a great idea to run Edinburgh's Half marathon on 29th May 2016 to raise awareness of melanoma cancer. As Linzi was quite a healthy young women who never used a sunbed or really went out sunbathing often. Cancer isn't acceptable at any age and to lose my beautiful girlfriend at 22 years old just isn't normal,  therefore we would appreciate any sort of donation whether it may be big or small. On behalf of me and my friends who are running the half marathon thank you for taking time to visit our page.
