Duke Lemur Center plans first Eggstravaganza

The Duke Lemur Center, as part of its Lemur Week celebration, will host its first Lemur Eggstravaganza.

The Duke Lemur Center, as part of its Lemur Week celebration, will host its first Lemur Eggstravaganza.

The family-friendly fundraiser is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 4, at the center in Durham. The cost is $25 per family. Reservations are required for this one.

The afternoon includes egg hunts, a picture with the Easter Lemur, bio-fact stations, the viewing of lemurs as they get their Easter treats, stories, a scavenger hunt, games, a raffle and more. American Meltdown and Parlour Ice Cream food trucks will be on hand with food to purchase.

The event is part of Lemur Week, which runs from March 28 to April 4 and includes several events across the Triangle, including a scavenger hunt.
