What's New at NARIC?
October is a big month for annual observances, among them National Physical Therapy Month, sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Physical therapy, or PT, is one of the first things that come to mind when people think of rehabilitation: Working with a therapist to recover from illness or injury and get back to working, playing, and living independently. To learn more about how PT works and how to find a therapist in your area, visit APTA's MoveForwardPT website. To learn more about current research in PT, take a look at our most recent acquisitions from the NIDILRR community and elsewhere, available from our collection.
