PHOENIXVILLE, PA- The National Christian College Athletic Association Division II East Region announced its All-Region receptions for women's volleyball. Three players from University of Valley Forge were honored for the 2014 season!
Freshman setter
Olivia Wireman was named to the East Region First Team. Wireman was ranked 5th in the nation in aces and 16
th in assists. In the region, Wireman was ranked 1
st in aces, 8
th in blocking and 3
rd in assists. Wireman recorded 448 assists, 66 aces and 12 blocks in her first season as a Lady Patriot!
Joining her on East Region Second Team was sophomore outside hitter,
Madison Arrowsmith. Arrowsmith. Arrowsmith finished the season ranked 19
th in the nation in aces with 46. Regionally she was ranked 4
th in aces and 9
th in kill average with 1.92 kills per set. Arrowsmith ended her second season with the program with a total of 131 kills, 46 aces, 95 digs and 6 blocks!
Freshman libero
Brittany Eberly was named to the East Region First Team and the East Region Libero of The Year! Eberly finished the season nationally ranked 13
th in aces and 15
th in digging. Regionally, she ranked 1
st in digs, 2
nd in aces and 9
th in assists. In her first season as a Lady Patriot, Eberly tallied 367 digs, 51 aces, 20 assists and 17 kills!
