Video proof that ‘police don’t care’

The officers appear to have plenty of reasons not to make an arrest.

IT’S a problem up and down the coast… taxi loads of outsiders invading public beaches and chasing away holidaying families with thumping music and booze orgies.

However, it is really a sore point for Scottburgh whose business people fear that paying holiday people are going to just pack up, never to return.

“Most of the taxis have ND number plates. Durban obviously chases them away and they come here because they know the security services just turn a blind eye. We have evidence that some police officers even join in,” said one restaurant owner.

The noise goes on late into the night and the beachfront is littered with broken booze bottles the next day when other holiday people arrive with their umbrellas and and beach balls.

The Mid South Coast Mail has highlighted the problem on several occasions and the SAPS denies that their officers are turning a blind eye. They claim to have made several arrests.

AfriForum’s Chris Fourie decided to go into the lion’s den and video the scene so there is visual proof of what is going on. Check out the video and draw your own conclusions.
