TigerDirect Brings Best of South Florida Tech Innovation to Tech Bash

TigerDirect to shine light on South Florida’s burgeoning tech scene during Third Annual TigerDirect Tech Bash

MIAMI--()--All geared up for its Third Annual TigerDirect Tech Bash, Miami-based retailer TigerDirect announced the Best of South Florida Tech highlighting several local companies that make the region’s tech scene tick. This year’s Tech Bash, kicking off at Marlins Park on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 7pm, plans to help shape how consumers see South Florida’s role in the future of all things technology.

Known as the gateway to Latin America and a breeding ground for innovation and entrepreneurial ventures, South Florida is quickly becoming America’s next big tech hub, and TigerDirect has taken notice. In the Best of South Florida Tech section at this year’s Tech Bash, consumers will find companies like Wyncode, Florida’s first state-licensed coding school, and Rokk3r Labs, an innovative platform for entrepreneurs to create and launch companies using a unique cobuilding methodology. In addition, several small businesses will show off their unique tech-centric products and services such as Live Ninja, GADA Secure Pay, AdMobilize, Public Reputation and MIAMade.

After exploring the South Florida startups and small businesses featured in the Best of South Florida Tech section, those consumers with the entrepreneurial itch can make their way to Miami-based tech accelerator and incubator Venture Hive’s mentoring section, where they can engage in one-on-one idea pitching sessions with the center’s top entrepreneurial talent.

“TigerDirect is proud of its roots in the South Florida community and strives to empower the local tech ecosystem to grow and prosper,” said TigerDirect’s Director of Corporate Marketing, Steven Leeds. “We are extremely impressed with the rapid growth that we have seen in the past few years and look forward to promoting that progress at this year’s Tech Bash.”

In addition to the Best of South Florida Tech section, attendees of this year’s TigerDirect Tech Bash can expect live media coverage, interactive brand activations, exclusive deals and on-site purchasing. TigerDirect has also partnered with Marlins Ayudan to host a spot for e-waste drop-off, where attendees can receive TigerDirect coupons for recycling acceptable products like cell phones, computers, consoles and so on.

Admission to the TigerDirect Tech Bash is free with pre-event registration at www.TigerTechBash.com. A $10 entrance fee will apply for entry at the gate for those who do not pre-register.
