Women's Tennis closes out play at ITA Southwest Regional Tournament

San Antonio, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team closed out play at the ITA Southwest Regional Tournament with a pair of matches Saturday in San Antonio.

 

In flight "A" singles, Hannah Warren was the lone UMHB player still alive. Warren lost to the top seed, Sofia Vega of Texas Lutheran University by a 6-0, 6-0 score. That match came in the semifinals of the tournament.

 

In the "B" singles draw, Katie Pilgrim fell to in the second round of the consolation bracket. Pilgrim lost to Devin Mendelson of Howard Payne University 6-1, 6-1.

 

The tournament runs through Sunday and was hosted by Trinity University. The ITA Southwest Tournament closes out the fall schedule for the Cru women.
