In any point of tension -- no matter what the
time factor may be -- energy is being generated,
held for future use, and focussed in such a
manner or condition that its force can be
directed wherever needed and whenever called
for. This is necessarily a statement hard to
understand. A point of tension is, symbolically,
a storehouse of power. Today the energies which
will be uniquely distinctive of the Kingdom of
God are gathering momentum and assuming
direction through the agency of the Masters of
the Wisdom, in cooperation with the will of

humanity. Kathleen Postle Ph.D. is a
Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
at the Pennsylvania State University. She
and her lab study how the bacterium Escherichia
coli acquires iron, which is often the basis of
a tug of war between host and pathogen.
