A family is searching for the 23-year-old horse who disappeared from their yard Friday night.Kitty’s owners, Barry and Beth Hull, said the quarter horse was standing in their yard when the sun went down.  Saturday morning, there was no sign of the horse, they said.They said Kitty is extra special to them because she was born on their farm and has lived her whole life there, and she has been deaf most of her life.An organization that helps owners locate lost and stolen horses, Stolen Horse International, also known as NetPosse.com, is trying to help spread the word about the missing mare.The Hulls have filed a police report with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office and they are offering a $500 reward for Kitty’s return.“Circulating Kitty’s flyer and the NetPosse.com Alert nationwide is imperative, as the horse could be anywhere by now. These flyers are one tool that brings home many horses and must be posted in as many public places as possible,” organization founder Debi Metcalfe said. “And remember, not everyone has internet access. Please post Kitty’s flier in public places as well.”Anyone with information is asked to call the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Department at 864-809-6864.
